BERT ~ Braeloch Wedgewood Blue

We are located in the beautiful Gippsland Lakes District of Victoria, Australia. Our Border Collies are our hobby, our entire life and are not a business (you certainly don't go into breeding for the money!). We have beautiful photo's, and many great links and information pages on our site. I am a Prim/Country lover and Border Collie everything person!! so I decided to merge my two passions together here, on my little home on the web!. We have an online store with some wonderful Border Collie related products and merchandise to view. We add new photo's and news events all the time, so please come back and visit our site again soon!. We are a small hobby kennel who strives to breed quality type and temperament in our puppies. We do not kennel our dogs because they are part of the family so therefore they are with us 24/7. Our Border Collies are bred for performance sports such as agility and trial events, herding, obedience work or would make the most beautiful family pet if desired. When we breed our full focus is on the health and temperament of the breed. This means we only produce a litter when we really think it is appropriate, or when we ourselves are wanting to add a new addition to our kennel. So when we produce our quality litter of babies, it will make available to other breeders/ handlers or the general public a beautiful healthy Border Collie puppy for them to love. Often a puppy may have been pre-ordered or pre-selected from us, a waiting list is used for this so that serious purchasers can order a puppy for use in a specific dog performance sport, or for conformation showing events within their kennel or club (sometimes people can wait for up to two years for the right puppy). We will always try our best to match a puppy to a relevent request, but no promises are made as each litter is different (good things come to those who wait!!). We now have Blue/White, Black/White and Chocolate/White in our kennel. We can be contacted anytime to discuss our future breeding plans. Interested in acquiring a puppy from us? Fill out our Puppy Questionnaire/Application Form. ~ Our puppies are precious to us and are only placed into the best of homes. We offer lifetime support to all of our puppies ~ Our beautiful foundation bitch Coco - Berringama Wandas Coco - DOB - 02/07/2004. Coco produced some of the loveliest markings and spectacular personalities for any Border Collie we had ever seen. We adore this girl and she is a pleasure to own. Her progeny have all taken on her beautiful personality, and we are so proud of them all and how wonderful they have all grown up. Our Coco is retired now, and is being spoilt rotten living with a wonderful family friend on a farm just enjoying life, and we are so proud of her!!. Our kennels official Dam is a beautiful Chocolate/White Border Collie bitch called Elsa. Dunwurkn Jordy Girl. See her page for loads of photo's, her pedigree and her full details. DNA CL, TNS & CEA Clear/Normal. See her certificates here. Jordyalan also presents Evie, Jordyalan Elsas Evelyn our adorable home-bred chocolate/Tri bitch. " Chester " ~ Becksbest Bright Spirit ~ All of my life I grew up in Western Queensland where all we ever owned were collies, cattle & kelpie crossed dogs - all were exceptional working dogs. My first purchase of a Border Collie was in 2007 which was a chocolate and white Border, Dunwurkn Chocolat Quizz. He has proved to be a willing worker around our property. Then the love of my life, (sorry to my other half), Clankelton Roses OWar (Rosie) came into my life. She has a beautiful nature and loves being in the show ring - a really pretty girl.! Rosie had her first litter in April 2010 which produced some lovely puppies, one which I have kept, Becksbest Amber Lilly, a red and white female. Amber had her first showing in August and won Baby of Breed at the Wondai Show. The photo displayed is Becksbest Bright Spirit, who now lives near Bundaberg. |
